"You have to be courageous enough to bring your ideas to life despite the naysayers.
The universe fortunes the brave."

As a photographer, filmmaker and all-round digital creative, Raj is constantly evolving his craft by working with different mediums to convey a meaningful story or message. He has produced works for clients such as Dorris McCarthy Gallery, Royal LePage Realty and University of Toronto. His most recent work was exhibited in Nuit Blanche Toronto this year with his wave art peers.
Raj has been professionally working in the banking field for over 7 years. He holds a BBA with a specialization in Finance from the University of Toronto and currently works as a Senior Business Analyst in Finance for one of the top banks in Canada.
For the past 7 years he held a seat on the Childhood Arthritis Advisory Council with the Arthritis Society of Canada, where the mandate is to bridge the knowledge and application gap between health care professionals and children patients living with Arthritis. Raj has found himself drawn to social issues regarding inequality, mainly in regards to getting applicable information in front of those who need it most. It was for this reason as to why Raj was drawn to Wave Art Collective.
Raj is currently the digital media lead for Wave Art Collective, an interdisciplinary group of artists, creators and community educators. The Wave Art Collective also provides youth with resources, mentorship, and entrepreneurial skills to learn photography, digital media or music skills in Scarborough.
Raj is also co-founder of Sapphire Studios, a photography and videography business that brings visions to life for weddings, corporate and personal events.
